RevOps: Enrich Your CRM with Intent Data
The problem
Your CRM has thousands of company records, but most are missing behavioral data. You know who’s in your database, but not who’s actively engaged. Marketing campaigns go to everyone equally, and sales priorities are based on guesswork.
The Evident approach
Use Evident to add visit intent data to your CRM records — so your team knows which accounts are warm, which are cold, and which deserve immediate attention.
Setup
Step 1: Connect your traffic source
Set up Amplitude or CSV ingestion so Evident has a continuous flow of enriched IP data. See Quickstart.
Step 2: Connect your CRM destination
Connect Evident to your CRM:
- HubSpot — Evident creates or updates Company records when a matched organization is identified. Intent signals (event count, last seen, trend) are written as custom properties.
- Salesforce — Evident exports enriched accounts as Account records or custom objects.
Step 3: Define sync rules
Decide which accounts to sync and what fields to write:
- Sync only accounts above a confidence threshold (e.g., ≥ 0.7) to keep CRM data clean
- Map Evident fields to your CRM schema: company name, domain, industry, country, event count, last seen, trend
- Set update behavior: create new records for net-new companies, or only update existing records

Using intent data for scoring and routing
Once Evident data is in your CRM, you can:
- Update lead scores — boost score for accounts with high event counts or upward trends
- Trigger sequences — enroll accounts in a sales sequence when
evident_event_countcrosses a threshold - Route to sales — auto-assign high-intent accounts to the right rep based on industry or territory
- Re-engage churned accounts — alert when a former customer starts visiting again
Keeping data fresh
Evident’s Amplitude sync or scheduled CSV uploads keep the CRM enrichment current. Set a cadence that matches your sales motion — daily for fast-moving pipelines, weekly for longer cycles.
Tips
- Use confidence scores as a data quality gate. Only write records with confidence ≥ 0.6 to avoid polluting your CRM with low-reliability matches.
- Don’t create contacts — only companies. Evident identifies organizations, not individuals. Creating Contact records from Evident data risks writing records without a real person behind them.
- Archive stale signals. Set a cleanup rule to clear
